THC for you and me
January 30th, 2008 by alienmeatsackSo, I am sitting here ripping some of my old public domain movies from my Total Movie collection. (Anyone remember that magazine?)

One of the movies on the discs is Assassin of Youth, a 1937 anti-pot movie. Basically it’s just pure crap, but it’s cult status and totally stupid story and such makes it fun to watch.
It also has Reefer Madness, another wonderful completely stupid anti-pot movie. I’ve not watched either in years, so I look forward to having at them on my AppleTV sometime soon.
Not as much fun to watch when you are sober or only drunk, but that’s how life goes.
There are also movies in the collection like White Zombie, Dick Tracy: Detective, and I Bury The Living. All very old and crappy, yet fun.
I wonder what movies that are out right now that will eventually get this kind of cult status? AoY was made in 37, so that was 70 years ago! Imagine someone watching something like Saw 70 years in the future.
You are all ghey, but that’s ok.
